Jackie Mathisen is an amateur photographer and retired
psychologist. After a childhood of living around the world as an Air Force brat, she moved to the wilds
of suburbia in Reno, Nevada. She spent most of her adult life observing human behavior. She now lives in the wilds of the Nevada and Oregon high deserts, observing and photographing
the outdoors, animals, and people. She shares her life with her wild husband, 3 dogs, horse and various cows, coyotes,
squirrels, packrats, birds and, occasional rattlesnake.
